Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Mern Stack Developer. The Mern Stack Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js) stack. The role involves collaborating with a team of developers, designing and implementing user interfaces, troubleshooting and debugging code, and building reusable and scalable code.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services using Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues and optimize application performance.
- Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of the applications.
- Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration processes.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest backend development trends and technologies.
Who are we looking for?
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in MERN stack development.
- Proficiency in backend technologies, particularly Node.js and Express.js.
- Solid understanding of MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
- Experience with creating and managing RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (React.js) to work effectively with front-end developers.
- Familiarity with cloud services and serverless architecture (e.g., AWS Lambda, Google Functions).
- Experience with Git and version control systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
